   I realize that throughout this project, I have used a plethora of acronyms and abbreviations, but lets face it, that is how flight actually is. I will try to remember to define every acronym used throughout this web site, on this page. RAM: Random Access Memory

SB: Squawkbox (A virtual transponder which allows you to interact with virtual ATC)

SCR: Silicon Controlled Rectifier

SPDT: Single Pole Double Throw

TCAS: Traffic Collision Avoidance System

UHF: Ultra High Frequency

USB: Universal Serial Bus

VB: Visual Basic (i.e. VB6.0)

VHF: Very High Frequency

VOR: Very-high frequency omni-directional range

VSI: Vertical Speed Indicator

XPNDR: Transponder
