Glareshield Wings

New Photos (May 2, 2003)

Here are the photos I've been waiting to share!
You can clearly see the new under glare lighting. Once I learn how to
use the night mode on this digital camera, I will take some shots of the
green night lighting.

It took more than 10 hours, but I finally got everything
painted. All the panels have been side painted including the CDU. All
the module bases were also dismantled and re-painted using a more closely
matched paint.

I had to use a disposable camera for these shots,
so the quality is very poor. However, you can see my new glareshield wings.
The Master/Warning switch is a real 1" Korry switch. The other three
switches on the glare wings are Honeywell AML 22s. The caps are currently
green until I can get Honeywell to engrave my black caps.
I also installed my map holder and added the main
instrument panel lighting. At night, the sim lighting looks FANTASTIC!!!!
Once I get a new digital camera, I will take night photos. I will probably
recyt the map holder. I like the shape, but it is about 1/4" too
low. It sounds like nothing, but it makes a noticeable difference visually.
