Standby Gauges Aligned
April 28, 2002
Here are a few shots of the beginning of my glareshield. Using lightplates makes this area
much easier to build since the light is internal and does not require any special openings
in the mounting frame. As you can see, the DSP is hand made (literally <g>). I will
have a friend of mine make that panel for me soon.

Almost done with the Main Instrument Panel! I now
have stand by bezels (from Peter Cos), as
well as a set of Display Selection Panels. The rotary selector on the altimeter standby
bezel actually rotates and has a mechanically functional pushbutton built in.

A shot of my center pedestal at night with the
green backlights on. The CDU will soon be filled and the sides of the panels will soon be
"sealed" to eliminate light leakage and "light-burn".

Some updated shots of my center pedestal with some
AGT hardware installed, including their beautiful
flight deck phone! The Flight Deck Door switch, in the first photo, is an actual Korry
switch. It works, but I need to find something to control with that switch <g>.
