Landing Gear Synoptic Display

The landing gear display provides you with more information than you would ever need to know about the tires on your aircraft. Tire pressure, brake temperature, brake status, and gear position, along with some other intricate information are all provided by this single display.

This display is quite more than a readout from Microsoft Flight Simulator though. It actually controls the landing gear and is therefore able to provide information that is not otherwise available. One of the most noteable implementations will be FS98 autobrake.

Reading the gear display
The different numbers on the gear display represent the following:

    Inside each tire: Tire Pressure
    Outside each tire: Brake Temperature
DOOR (CLOSED): Respective gear door is closed
DOOR (crosshatched): Respective gear door is open
Rectangle on outside of tire symbol: Brake Symbol
Solid Brake Symbol: Indicates the hottest brake on each axel
Amber Brake Symbol: Indicates a brake overheat (above 5.0)
