Sim Spares disclaimer

TERMS OF SERVICE. If you do not accept ALL of the conditions listed in this disclaimer, please do not use this service. If you contact a site manager or moderator, we may be able to accomodate your concern, but we ask that you resolve these issues BEFORE selling or purchasing anything from this site.

(i) WE WILL NOT SALE TO AVIONIC SHOPS, AIRLINES, OR ANY OTHER AVIATION ENTITY. This web site is a service to a new and growing hobby and is not meant for commercial gain.

(ii) PARTS SOLD ON SIM SPARES ARE FOR SIMULATOR USE ONLY AND ARE SOLD AS IS!! Unless otherwise specified by the seller, parts are sold as is and may or may not be completely functional. Unless otherwise stated, sellers have a NO REFUND policy. Do not assume that gauges have functional needles or panels have functional internal lighting. If you are concerned about these specific features, MAKE SURE to ask the seller BEFORE purchasing the parts.

(iv) Please do not re-sale items on eBay. We are happy to let you repost items on Sim Spares.

(v) Accuracy of information: The buyer is responsible for verifying the origin of parts. If a seller has for sale an MCP, which is stated to be from a 747, but it is really from a 767, it is up to the buyer to notice that BEFORE purchasing the item. This is important, because some parts vary from airline to airline and some people get upset when they receive a part that is slightly different. Also, many of the parts we receive are generic or have an uncertain origin. Only if the part is different from the picture shown, or if it varies from what is describes, will the buyer have areason to request a refund.

Sellers will be responsible for the pictures they use. Photos should be representative of the part being sold. If the photo varies significantly from the actual product, the buyer has the right to request a refund. Any major or minor damage should be listed in the discription or made otherwise known to buyers before a purchase is made.

(vi) Sellers reserve the right to sell items to the first person willing to make payment. If an item is being "reserved" and another person is willing to pay for the item sooner, the seller has the right to deny the initial transaction. Items are typically left posted until payment is finalized.

(vii) Sellers shall insure that items do not arrive broken, but cannot be responsible for items lost in transit. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT BUYERS REQUEST TRACKABLE SHIPPING! Once an item is packaged and delivered to a shipper, the seller cannot otherwise gaurantee that the shipment will be delivered.
